Admiral Nimitz Foundation
“The National Museum of the Pacific War”
This is the only institution in the Continental United States dedicated exclusively to telling the story of the Pacific Theater battles of World War II.
The “Nimitz Museum” is located on a six acre site, the Complex includes the George Bush Gallery, Admiral Nimitz Museum, Plaza of Presidents, Veterans Walk of Honor and Memorial Wall, Japanese Garden of Peace, Pacific Combat Zone, and the Center for Pacific War Studies.
Within the Memorial Wall we will be dedicating a memorial plaque for the Sam Rayburn. The ceremony will be 1000 on Wed 28 April 2009.
Following the Dedication Ceremony we have a luncheon scheduled in the Museum.

We have arranged for the 635 plaque to be in the center of the complex and not in the back 40.
While your at the site of the Museum check out the “Veterans Walk of Honor”
Your 100.00 donation will allow your name or message to be engraved on a 4X8” paver brick and placed in the Veteran’s Walk of Honor. The walk is placed in front of and along the famous Memorial Wall.
